Nicolosi's Pizza: The Best Pizzeria in West NJ Since 1964

This is the absolute best pizza in west NJ. I make it a point to stop by here every time I'm in the area. Great people and even better food! You will not be disappointed

The pizza is perfect and it’s no wonder why Nicolosi’s is the longest running pizzeria in Jersey. Sicilian and regular pizza is the only thing on the menu since 1964 which is probably why they are so good at it. The pizza has a perfect blend of a great homemade sauce with really good cheese topped off with a very good amount of oregano. The flavor brings you back to how really really good pizza tasted back in the day. The location is family owned and the family and staff are always friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. Nicolosi’s also delivers and is the fastest at it too. Generally less than 30 minutes or less from the time you order. I highly highly recommend trying Nicolosi’s if you are a pizza lover!

Good service and great tasting pizza. Had craving for pizza, this was just what I needed. The pizza for me was a little salty due to not eating salt, but overall with the sauce and cheese this was really tasty , I had 3 slices. The only downside, they do not sell chicken wings . We will be back again to try their other pizzas.

Absolute best pizza I’ve had. This area has lots of food places (including a line of multiple chain restaurants) but this one’s pretty darn amazing. Pizza itself looks vibrant, and tastes amazing. Very awesome, I recommend for a good experience!!

Great pizza, even greater people. Happened upon this place on my way back to Virginia. They could not have been nicer people. Any town in the USA would be proud to have upstanding citizens like them running an A+++ restaurant like this in their town. Already planning my return trip!

If you remember the taste of pizza from the 60s and 70s take a trip in time here. The pizza I mind-blowing and after one bite I thought of my time in the 1960s when pizza had a certain flavor and taste. The sauce here is not found anywhere else. Love to know who the sauce company is or is it homemade pizza sauce. This is a worthwhile field trip to enjoy the best. Cash only and no credit cards. Still by far my favorite .

This place is solid, crust is delicious not overly oily overall a good pick. Sauce flavor is really fresh, not too much salt. Got a (Brooklyn style) Only complaint is the excessive sauce and lack of crisp. I'd give a 7.5 /10

There are many, many more in the area I need to try still…but Nicolosi’s in Phillipsburg is absolutely at the top of my list for Sicilian slice now. They didn’t have a pie made so I ordered a half. Good thing I did, no way I would have settled for only one slice anyway. Solid tasting sauce, they must be using Grande cheese, crispy crust with airy interior, the dough had good flavor … just an overall Winner. This was closest to the Sicilian pies of my youth in Brooklyn than anywhere else I’ve tried out this way so far. Not saying that alone means it’s better…just saying that is what I know and am used to so it hit a comfort spot for me for sure. Check them out if you haven’t already. The half was in the ballpark of $16 for 6 slices. Certainly Didn’t Suck!
